Při premiéře nové hry, kde hraje hlavní roli Sharonina sestra Gail, je zavražděn jeden z herců. K vraždě došlo před zraky tří set diváků. A protože nůž podle scénáře vrazila kolegovi do hrudi právě Gail, je okamžitě zatčena jako hlavní podezřelá.
