Tým je přivolán k podivné autonehodě. Auto srazilo na ulici vysokoškolského studenta, Williama Watsona, který se chvíli před srážkou na ulici svléknul do spodního prádla a pod vůz doslova vběhnul. Podle záznamů pouličních kamer se Watson chvíli před nehodou také sešel s McGeeho manželkou, Delilah, která na univerzitě učí kybernetiku. Od ní se agenti dozvědí, že Watson vynalezl šifrovací program, který měl velkou budoucnost. Delilah ale není přesvědčena, že by za vraždou byla nějaká cizí zpravodajská služba.
