Velkolepé plány se vracejí na obrazovku v podobě speciálního jubilejního seriálu, který moderuje nenapodobitelný Kevin McCloud. První část připomene divákům nejpozoruhodnější a nejsledovanější výpravy za architekturou z uplynulých 25 let, mezi nimi nejstrašlivěji překročené rozpočty, nejambicióznější projekty a nejkatastrofálnější časové skluzy. Ostatní epizody se soustředí na odvážné a inspirující návrhy a osobní cíle stavitelů. Od zbourání domu, ve kterém majitel prožil dětství, a jeho přestavby na idylické centrum zdraví a wellness, až po rekonstrukci nejobávanější vodárenské věže, která kdy byla postavena. Tony a Ara chtějí mít dům založený na dvou klíčových pojmech: zdraví a pohoda. Věc nesnese odklad, protože Aru napadla autoimunitní nemoc. Tony se ubytuje na staveništi, aby i tímto způsobem ušetřil peníze, a sám dohlíží na stavební práce, aby Ara nebyla vystavena stresům...
