Probíhá oprava kanceláří NCIS. DiNozzo flirtuje s Judy Fordovou, která má na starosti zařizování všech oprav. Má však smůlu, Judy jeho flirt neopětuje a pozvání na večeři odmítá, protože je prý zadaná. Aby toho nebylo málo tak přichází Dr. Wolf, psycholog, který má za úkol provést psychologické testy všech členů Gibbsova týmu v souvislosti s nedávným bombovým útokem na budovu NCIS. Nejhůře je na tom Abby, které se opět vrátily strašidelné sny. Gibbs se dozvídá, že bylo nalezeno v jezeře auto s mrtvolou Midge Watkinsové, zaměstnané ve zbrojírně NCIS. Byla nezvěstná od doby těsně po bombovém útoku. Ještě napsala své dceři Grace sms zprávu, že se ozve jakmile dorazí domů, ale už se nikdy neozvala. Při ohledání místa činu zjistí Jimmy Palmer, že byla zastřelena.
