Na palubě restaurační lodi je zastřelen mariňák Jeremy Nolan. Vyšetřování případu se účastní také agentka Abygail Borinová. Jednak proto, že v době vraždy na lodi byla, a jednak proto, že je členkou kriminálky Pobřežní hlídky. Abby nejprve zjišťuje, že Jeremy musel být zastřelen z nějaké jiné lodi, a když je krátce nato nalezeno v řece Potomac další mrtvé tělo, začíná být zřejmé, že šlo o práci nájemného vraha, kterého jeho klient zabil, aby se tak zbavil jediného svědka. Gibbs dochází k závěru, že motivem k vraždě bude nejspíš poslední vůle Jeremyho otce Jacka Nolana.(Nova Cinema)
