Poručík Rabb a poručíčka Austinová prichádzajú do Nového Mexika vyšetrovať nadprirodzené úkazy a udalosti spojené so zmiznutím malého dievčaťa v susedstve bývalej vojenskej leteckej základne. Dievča síce nájdu, ale sami sa ocitnú v ohrození života. Ako zistia, podivné úkazy nespôsobuje UFO, ale drogová mafia, ktorá si na opustenej základni urobila tajné laboratórium. Jordan, expřítelkyně podplukovníka Harmona Rabba, se po dlouhé době vrátila ze Španělska a zanechala mu vzkaz na záznamníku. Když jí Harmon volal zpět, telefon zvedl agent NCIS a oznámil mu, že je Jordan mrtvá. Krátce nato NCIS případ uzavírá jako sebevraždu. Tomu ale Harmon nevěří, takže se s kolegy z JAGu pouští do vyšetřování.(Amper01)
