A ač letadlo "Orel" v pořádku a bez poruch doletí, kongresmanka Lathamová, pro kterou se let konal, chce celý projekt tohoto přelomového letadla ukončit. Jordan, expřítelkyně podplukovníka Harmona Rabba, se po dlouhé době vrátila ze Španělska a zanechala mu vzkaz na záznamníku. Když jí Harmon volal zpět, telefon zvedl agent NCIS a oznámil mu, že je Jordan mrtvá. Krátce nato NCIS případ uzavírá jako sebevraždu. Tomu ale Harmon nevěří, takže se s kolegy z JAGu pouští do vyšetřování.(Amper01)
